[Preparation is key before job seeking ! Job-hunting & Interview Skills Workshop]

Any major global event has the potential to significantly impact the job market. Given what has been happening globally recently, a lot of our members raised questions, whether there are particular industries that have more jobs available as a result of the pandemic and what they can do to increase their earnings while they have to take care of their family during these difficult times.

MIW organized a job-hunting & interview skills workshop especially for part-time and temporary job seekers. The workshop introduced our members to part-time job platforms, helped them develop skills for online interviews, and shared some tips on how to seek temporary jobs. Some members shared their interview experiences, and some members even decided to try and apply for the positions introduced to them at the workshop!

These workshops are a crucial tool for building skills, confidence, awareness and assisting our members to prepare for future opportunities.
