[Boosting the Labor Market: “Career” CHECK-IN Job Fair]

According to the latest data released by the Hong Kong Government, the unemployment rate for the period spanning June through August 2026 stood at 3.8%, corresponding to approximately 153,900 individuals without employment. Concurrently, certain industries continue to face substantial recruitment challenges, particularly with the food and beverage sector experiencing difficulties.

In line with the Foundation’s mission, we recently organized the “Workplace CHECK-IN: Industry Mini-Expo” event. The initiative brought together multiple organizations to establish recruitment stations and conduct on-the-spot interviews, while also hosting guest speakers from diverse sectors to share industry insights. This comprehensive approach enabled grassroots participants/job seekers to develop a thorough understanding of prevailing market requirements and increase their chances of securing employment.

We would additionally like to express our sincere gratitude to Infopro Digital for their volunteer contribution at the event’s “CV Consultation Clinic,” where they provided professional and constructive advice to grassroots individuals/job seekers.  It definitely helping to enhance their competitiveness and increases their chances of securing employment.

The event opening up more employment opportunities for those in need, meanwhile facilitating the relationships between employers and prospective employees. We also anticipate driving the Hong Kong’s labor market development and catalyze economic expansion.
