[Online Chinese Lantern Festival Celebration]

MIW has organized an online Chinese Lantern Festival celebration for members. Even though we are unable to meet each other in person we wish to deliver the message of love and care to each other. Under the guidance of our social worker, we played BINGO and used red pockets to hand-make lanterns.

A member, Mr. Hui, showed his passion and talent with craft making. He paid attention to every detail and designed his own pattern for the lanterns; while another member participated with two of her little daughters, an endearing time of bonding between parent and children.

The Chinese lantern festival is to celebrate the first full moon of the year and the coming of Spring. MIW wishes you all the best of health for the start of the new year.
