Wellington Road-based fashion designer Lulu Cheung has long been part of Hong Kong’s style landscape, featuring modernity as well as the image of natural feminine beauty. Founder Lulu Cheung recently took a remarkable stand by sharing the fruits of her success to collaborate with the French Chamber Foundation and help people in need.

Lulu Cheung made the bold decision of funding the French Chamber Foundation with 3% of last June sales. A cocktail was held on 21st June to celebrate this initiative at Lulu Cheung boutique, involving personalities of the French community and Hong Kong celebrities as well as major clients of the boutique. The French Chamber Foundation expresses its deep gratitude to Lulu Cheung for its generosity and support in helping the low-income workers in Hong Kong. Let us hope this great initiative will inspire other entrepreneurs to launch similar actions in the future!

Lulu believes in nature, purity and simplicity, her creations are all based on the finest elements of life which fuses with a sense of French taste. My encounter with Marie Helene Prevot, Director of the French Chamber Foundation, who shared a lot about her French life, inspired this collaboration and connected us with the Foundation:

“I am deeply impressed by the hard work the Foundation have done to enhance the livelihood of the community in HK, especially the affordable Lunch Club. Through this collaboration and our donation, we do our best to contribute to the Foundation.”

The famous brand founded in Hong Kong by Malaysian origin and China raised Lulu Cheung has spread in Japan and Singapore, dressing celebrities like model Vanessa Yeung. Ideally located in Hong Kong Central district, Lulu Cheung boutique aims at offering a clientele of active women trendy simple and comfortable outfits, ranking from working attire to leisure and social activities, the whole being inspired by nature.
