[The Little Dreamer And Leadership Learning Program – Episode 1]

[The Little Dreamer And Leadership Learning Program – Episode 1]

In light of the circumstances faced by the families of our members, particularly children ranging from primary 4 to secondary 1, Make It Work has crafted a year-long initiative titled “Little Dreamer ” aimed at fostering their growth and development. The objective of this program is to assist children in recognizing their unique personalities, strengths, and potential, thereby forming an ideal “career blueprint”. Upon the completion of various workshops, we will encourage the children to draft a project proposal. Outstanding students will be awarded a subsidy to participate in their chosen extracurricular activities, taking step by step towards their dreams.

Recently, we launched the first phase of our workshops. This phase encompassed an overview of the key industries in Hong Kong and their influence on everyday life. Participants were also encouraged to understand various skills and educational requirements needed for each position from an “employer’s” perspective. To assist the students in gaining a deeper understanding of their inner selves, the workshops guided them to connect their personality traits with their ideal careers through interest assessments and career role exploration, enabling them to gradually develop a clear career direction.

The forthcoming lessons will continue in facilitating the children’s exploration, and we are eagerly looking forward to their progress!

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors for their support, which has given children the chance to showcase their talents. We aspire that every donation will help them tackle difficulties.
