【The various roles of a mother】

As a mom of two children in elementary school, Lily carries the duty of managing the household, whereas her husband is the primary breadwinner for the family. The family of four now live in a narrow subdivided flat. Lily, who put her family as her priority, has always wished to utilize her free moments for part-time work while her children are attending school to boost the family’s earnings.  

Lily used to work as a part-time waitress at a restaurant, but due to her need to care for her children throughout the summer break, she was unable to continue working. Even though she encountered these challenges, Lily, as a mother of two, realized she should not give up. Instead, she proactively searched for chances and successfully secured another part-time position in a restaurant with help from the community. This position offers not only flexible hours but also great hourly pay, enabling her to boost her earnings while looking after her family.
