[Fight The Virus]

The 5th wave of pandemic has been a huge strain for many in Hong Kong. The peak of the virus is unforeseeable, so the inflation rate is increasing consequently. This is having a huge impact on low-income families. Not only are they afraid of being infected, they are worried about their limited resources to buy fresh food or suitable medicine as well. In these difficult times, MIW is needed more than ever. Our staff have been showing their care by calling our members, asking them about their health and employment status, and offering general support to alleviate their anxiety. MIW is also buying food or daily necessities for members who are quarantined at home. 

We are now organizing an anti-virus pack to distribute to our members. It includes nutritious food such as apples and milk, a preventive medical kit, and a COVID rapid test kit donated by the French Chamber Foundation president. These simple items are urgently needed for some of our most vulnerable members and their families. 

This situation is ruthless, but we can make a positive impact and overcome this difficult time together.
