Make It Work introduced a course titled Welfare Assistant (Children Session) and was facilitated by an experienced senior social worker.

This course is designed to assist unemployed individuals in acquiring a comprehensive understanding of the social service sector, with a particular emphasis on social welfare initiatives that focus on children. The curriculum encompasses an exploration of child development psychology and characteristics, the acquisition of effective communication skills for interacting with children, as well as the competencies required for designing and facilitating activities for children.

The Association aspires that this course will enable interested members to explore new employment opportunities and apply their acquired knowledge in practical settings. There exists the potential for members to engage in the social welfare industry in the future.
