[Continuously Exploring for More Employment Possibilities]
Make It Work has consistently encouraged its members to pursue various job opportunities. Lately, we have conducted several “Social Welfare Assistant (Children Care’s Edition) Experience Courses” aimed at assisting unemployed members in starting a new path, as well as equipping them for a role in the social welfare industry.
Through guidance from experienced social workers, participants gain a deeper understanding of the social service field. At the same time, through a hands-on role-play activity, they learn more about the psychology and characteristics of child development, meanwhile enhancing their confidence in interacting with children. The qualifications needed for social welfare assistants are quite minimal, and also provide a reliable career route, which makes it an excellent option for those interested in a career in social welfare.
