[Taking the First Step ─ From Stay-at-Home Mom to Finding Balance in Live]

Ah Hung was a dedicated mother who committed herself fully to her family. Her husband shouldered the household expenses while she handled the household tasks. As her children grew older, Ah Hung started considering ways to generate income for the family while also broadening her social network.

After joining Make It Work, Ah Hung has engaged in numerous workshops, which have enhanced her confidence in finding a job. Following months of hard work, Ah Hung secured a part-time position at a laundry, focusing on laundering and packing. The laundry shop is situated close to her house, and the flexible working hours allow her to manage her job and family in a balance.

Ah Hung’s story shows that even without any workplace experience, if you are open to trying, job opportunities are within your reach, and balancing family and work is achievable.

Make It Work stays committed to its mission, supporting each beneficiary on their career journey, fostering confidence, and enabling them to shape their own lives.
