Our Make It Work HK member, May, has been actively participating in various volunteer activities, interest groups and employment workshops. She often shares her wisdom in life with staff and other members. May had developed the habit of creating DIYs of daily materials. As a housewife, household chores are no longer difficult for her, and she likes to spend her time learning new skills and exploring new hobbies such as cloth art – Which is a form of art that incorporate different types of fabrics to create pieces of clothing that are both cute and practical! 

In light of this, Make It Work HK organized a “Good mood Sewing” class and invited May as a voluntary tutor to pass on her talents and share the joy of sewing and cloth art. Through this, we also hope to encourage communication and establish a friendly and supportive network among our members.
