[Children’s Club progress]

Make It Work – The children’s Club under the Family-Friendly Employment Support Service Program has started at Tsuen Wan Centre, Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. In the past, we realized that some of our members find it extremely difficult to get either a part-time or full time job, as they have to attend to their growing up children’s needs. To support our Members, Make It Work has recently established a new service by providing homework support to their children after school.

Children can do their homework here and study for the school test. Afterwards, the tutors would provide some supplementary exercises to enhance the children’s learning foundation.

At our Mong Kok Centre, a recruitment seminar on children’s learning was also held. Some Make It Work Members were interested in bringing their children to participate in this club, hoping to give them a quiet place to do homework under tutors’ guidance, therefore parents can go to work without worries.
