Ms. Lau, how to move on after a job loss

Ms. Lau, 47, became unemployed after the company that she worked for ended its business in June 2018. She came to us for help. Thanks to the assistance of the Foundation’s volunteers, she successfully applied for a job as a pet food salesperson.

Ms. Ko, a successful change for a better job

Ms. Ko is 31 years old. She left her position as a saleswoman a few months ago in search for a better place. The social workers in Tsuen Wan noticed she enjoyed interacting with people, and introduced her to a job offer as a cashier and waiter in Lai Chi Kok. She is very happy with her new job and earns a much better salary than before.
